Pages are half the sheet, so an A5 book comes off any A4 printer, an A4-page book needs an A3-capable printer, and A3 pages would need A2 — no home printer offers that, so it is a copy-shop job.
Why make a photo booklet at home
Foldpic brings that collage feel to a booklet you can actually print and bind at home.
Scrapbook templates use tape corners, tilted Polaroid stacks, kraft and paper textures, and journaling columns next to the photos. You drop the photos in, write the notes, and download a PDF imposed for double-sided printing. Fold the stack in half, staple twice, and it is a book.
If you like to add real stickers and ephemera afterwards, print on 120 to 160 gsm matte paper so it takes glue without cockling.
Collage looks without the mess
Tape, torn edges and rotated frames are part of the style, applied to every page automatically and kept clear of the fold and the trim.
Room to write
Journaling blocks and captions on every layout. Type the story now instead of promising to add it later.
A base for real embellishment
Print, staple, then add washi tape, tickets and stickers by hand. The printed layout does the hard part.
Bind it in ten minutes
Nested sheets, one fold, two staples. The guide shows how to do it with a normal desk stapler.
A few folds from finished
6 steps, printed on both sides. The full instruction sheet with checks and a common-mistakes box comes with your PDF.
1Print 4 sheets, both sides. Print 4 sheets on both sides, flip on the short edge.
2Check the back side is the right way up. Turn one over: the back page shares the same top edge.
3Stack the sheets in order. Stack the sheets in order, side A facing down.
4Fold the whole stack in half. Fold the whole stack in half. Page 1 is on the front.
5Staple the spine. Two staples on the crease.
6Trim the edge (optional). Trim the open edge if you want it flush. Done.

Photo booklet questions
Can I print a 12 by 12 inch scrapbook page?
Not directly. Foldpic makes A5, half-Letter, A4 or Letter pages from folded sheets. For big square pages you would need a printer that takes 12 by 12 card and a different tool.
Are the tape and torn-edge effects printed?
Yes, they are part of the template artwork and print with your photos. You can add real tape on top afterwards if you like.
What paper suits a scrapbook?
120 to 160 gsm matte paper takes glue and pens well. Kraft-coloured paper matches the vintage styles if your printer feeds it.
Can I leave blank pages for handwriting?
Yes. Choose a text-only or blank layout for any page. Pages stay in the same booklet and fold in order.
How many pages can a scrapbook have?
8 to 32 in steps of four. The first 16 pages are free; larger books will need a per-project unlock that is coming soon.
Is this the same as a digital scrapbook?
You design it digitally, but the point is to print it. The PDF is imposed so the printed pages fold into a booklet, which digital scrapbook makers do not do.
