The Foldpic collection / Card
A card that sounds like you. Folded in a minute.
Foldpic makes folded greeting cards from your own photos. Choose a birthday, thank-you, invitation or just-because design, put a photo on the front, write the inside, and download a one-page PDF that folds into a card.

The card is a quarter of the sheet: A6 from A4 on any home printer, A5 from A3 if your printer takes it. An A4 card would need A2 paper, which means a copy shop.
Why make a card at home
It prints on one side of a single sheet, so any home printer works.
The trick with a home-printed quarter-fold card is that the inside has to print upside down along the top of the sheet. Foldpic places every panel for you and draws the two fold lines, so the card opens the right way up the first time.
A card is four small pages, well inside the free limit, and nothing is watermarked.
No duplex needed
Front, inside and back all print on one side of one sheet. Fold the top half behind, fold left behind right, done.
Your photo, your words
A photo on the front, a photo or a big greeting inside, and a message block with a signature line in your own words.
A6 from A4
One A4 sheet folds to an A6 card that fits a standard C6 envelope; US Letter gives a 4.25 × 5.5 in card. Add a matching envelope from the gift kit.
Make ten in ten minutes
Print a stack in one run for party invitations or thank-yous; every sheet folds the same way.
A few folds from finished
4 steps, printed on one side. The full instruction sheet with checks and a common-mistakes box comes with your PDF.
1Print the sheet. One page, portrait, 100% scale, one side.
2Fold the top half behind. Keep the print on the outside.
3Fold left behind right. Fold the left half back behind the right half so the front ends up on top.
4Press it flat. Put the card under a heavy book for a few minutes so it stays closed.

Before you print
- Best paper weights for printing zines and photo booklets at home
Which gsm to buy for zines, booklets and accordion albums on an inkjet or laser: 80 to 250 gsm explained, tray limits, glossy vs matte, scoring and grain.
- Actual size vs fit to page: why scaling ruins zines and booklets
“Fit to page” shrinks your print and shifts the centre so folds miss the panels. Why it happens, the 100 mm ruler check, and the setting to use.
- How to score and fold thick card without cracking
Card above 200 gsm cracks at the fold unless scored first. Tools that work (bone folder, empty pen, butter knife), which side to score, grain and toner.
Card questions
What paper should I use for a card?
160 to 200 gsm matte card if your printer feeds it, through the rear or manual tray. Plain 100 gsm paper works but feels more like a leaflet.
Why is half the card upside down on the sheet?
That half becomes the inside. When you fold the top half behind, it turns the right way up. It is correct.
Do I need a double-sided printer?
No. The quarter-fold card is printed on one side only; the folds put the inside on the inside.
How big is the finished card?
A quarter of the sheet: 105 × 148 mm (A6) from A4, 108 × 140 mm from US Letter, and A5 from A3 if your printer takes it.
Can I make an envelope too?
Yes. Switch on the envelope in the gift kit on the print step; it comes as a separate one-page PDF with fold and glue lines sized to the card.
