Why make a calendar at home
Clip the stack with a binder clip, fold the clip's wire handles back and it stands on a desk. Flip a month over the back when it ends.
Start in January, or start the month of a birthday, a new job or a new home.
Dates done for you
Month names, weekday headings and dates are generated from your start month and year. Weeks start on Monday or Sunday.
A photo a month
Three month layouts: photo beside the dates, photo above, or two photos for the busy months.
Three sheets, twelve cards
Four months per sheet, printed on one side and cut on the tick marks into A6 cards.

Before you print
- Best paper weights for printing zines and photo booklets at home
Which gsm to buy for zines, booklets and accordion albums on an inkjet or laser: 80 to 250 gsm explained, tray limits, glossy vs matte, scoring and grain.
- Actual size vs fit to page: why scaling ruins zines and booklets
“Fit to page” shrinks your print and shifts the centre so folds miss the panels. Why it happens, the 100 mm ruler check, and the setting to use.
- What resolution do photos need for a printed album? (the dpi maths)
Pixels needed for an A5 page or a zine panel at 200 and 300 dpi, why phone photos are fine and screenshots are not, and what a low-res warning means.
Calendar questions
Can I start the calendar in any month?
Yes. Choose the start month and year in the editor's Calendar panel; the twelve cards follow from there and can run across two years.
How do I make it stand up?
Clip the top edge of the stack with a binder clip and fold its two wire handles back as legs, or punch two holes and add a ring and a small easel.
What paper should I use?
200 to 300 gsm card so the months stay flat. It prints on one side only, so matte or satin photo card works.
