Why make a card at home

Save the Evening puts the details in the order guests look for them: what the event is, the date and time on their own line, the place and anything guests should know, then the RSVP line at the bottom. It suits engagement dinners, anniversaries, christenings, milestone birthdays and small weddings.

Print the whole run in one go so the colour matches across every invitation, and add matching envelopes from the gift kit. Cream or ivory card makes a home-printed invitation look like it came from a stationer.

Details where guests look

Event, date and time, place and RSVP have their own lines inside, so nobody has to hunt for the address.

Your photo on the front

The couple, the birthday child, the venue: one photo and an invitation line make it unmistakably yours.

Matching envelopes

The gift kit makes envelopes sized to the invitation in the same colours, with fold and glue lines.

Card questions

How many invitations can I print?

As many as you like. You download one PDF and print it as many times as you need on your own printer.

What size is the invitation?

A6 (105 × 148 mm) from A4 paper, about 108 × 140 mm from US Letter, and A5 from A3. A6 fits a standard C6 envelope.

Can I print invitations on cream card?

Yes. Any card your printer accepts works; 160 to 200 gsm through the rear or manual tray looks best. Set the paper type to card or heavy.

Should I write the date in words or numbers?

Words read more like an invitation: Saturday 14 June at seven. Numbers are fine for very casual events.
