A little more about this look
Family Year is the calendar for the kitchen counter or the grandparents' side table. It uses the kids style, cream paper, coral accents and rounded photo corners, and puts two photos on half of the months so there is room for everyone. The other months use a single large photo above or beside the dates. The month grid is filled in automatically from the start month and year, so you only choose the photos.
It makes a good end-of-year present: one sheet holds four months, three sheets make the year, and the finished stack stands up with a single binder clip. Try matching photos to the season: the paddling pool in July, the costume in October, the first snow in January. Leave a little space around faces, since the rounded corners trim the edges of each frame.
The twelve months print four to a sheet on three landscape sheets, one side only, and the month grids are filled in for you from the start month you choose. Use 200 to 300 gsm card, print at 100%, cut each sheet into quarters on the tick marks, stack the months in order and clip them with a binder clip folded back into a stand. The calendar uses 18 photos, at least one for every month.
How you will assemble it
1Print 3 sheets. Landscape, 100% scale, one side only.
2Cut along the marks. Cut once across the middle and once down the middle of every sheet, using the tick marks on the edges.
3Stack and clip. Stack the months in order with the first month on top.
